Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis, & Omaha Ry., Class "I-1" 4-6-0 #360

Taken, Menomonie, Wisconsin, Fall 0f 1947.

The Omaha Railroad at Menomonie Wisconsin was located in the Red Cedar river valley, well below the main line which passes through Menomonie Junction. A spur from the junction serviced the main city. All traffic in and out plus any switching to be done was handled by a single I-1 ten-wheeler. It generally did its work at night and spent the day simmering at the end of the spur.

Built by Alco-Schenectady, probably March 1909 C/N possibly 45919.
