This photo of #514 crossing the Red Cedar River Bridge just east of North Menomonie, Wisconsin was taken within a second or so of the photo on the front page. The engineer and fireman were notified when the train was in the North Menomonie station that we would be there and asked to make as much smoke as possible. Obviously, they succeeded.
